Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand business/technical objectives.
- Provide AWS practice adoption, technology expertise, and process optimization blueprints for enterprise initiatives for hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Select the right AWS Service(s) for each application layer (presentation, API/Service, and data).
- Create strategies for ensuring efficient and secure data exchange between each layer.
- Ensure proposed solutions meet or exceed technical, security, performance, cost, operational, and resilience requirements.
- Effectively present and defend design decisions/proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
- Architect DevOps solutions and set up end-to-end pipelines for solutions.
- Develop scripts to automate the deployment of AWS resources at scale using CloudFormation templates.
Skills and Experience
- 10 years of experience with cloud, AWS tools, and technologies.
- Expertise in utilizing AWS services and tools to architect, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure applications.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions on AWS.
- Comprehensive experience with AWS technologies, including S3, RDS, Redshift, EC2, ELB/ALB, IAM, SQS, and infrastructure like Docker, Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in coding and scripting in administrative languages such as Ruby, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Terraform, Helm, Argo, etc.
- Ability to configure and manage AWS Application Load Balancers for distributing incoming application traffic.
- Implement network security using VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) and WAF (Web Application Firewall).
- Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies.
