Job Description

We are embarking on an exciting initiative to develop a cutting-edge trading platform for an innovative international top-tier hedge fund. This platform will be built from the ground up, encompassing a comprehensive front-office system tailored for traders, robust pre-trade checks and analysis capabilities, intra-day positions management, advanced order management and routing functionalities, rigorous risks and limits management, detailed reports on trading activities, seamless FIX connectivity, and integration with leading market data providers such as Bloomberg B-pipe.

Responsibilities

  1. Automation and Tooling. Design and build automation tools critical for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the trading platform.
  2. Collaboration. Work closely with development, support, and QA teams as a key team player.
  3. Troubleshooting. Respond promptly to inquiries and outages to ensure smooth operations.
  4. Process Optimization. Propose and implement standardized workflows across QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  5. System Support. Provide expertise in system setup, configuration, and continuous improvement.

Skills Required

  1. DevOps Expertise. Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps roles, focusing on deployment and maintenance of complex production systems.
  2. Cloud Technologies. Proficiency with AWS and/or Azure, including services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch.
  3. Linux Administration. Strong understanding of Linux internals and networking.
  4. Scripting/Programming. Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) or programming experience (Java).
  5. Version Control. Experience with Git for version control.
  6. Automation Mindset. Proven ability and passion for process re-engineering and automation.
  7. Open Source Tools. Capability to identify and leverage appropriate open source tools to enhance workflows.
  8. CI/CD Pipelines. Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  9. Containerization. Familiarity with Docker containers.

Nice to Have

  1. Container Orchestration. Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  2. Configuration Management. Experience with Ansible for configuration management.

Languages

English. Upper Intermediate level (B2) or higher.
