Your Role and Responsibilities
- Automation. Streamlining critical jobs across our platform to minimize manual errors and human intervention.
- Monitoring. Implementing effective monitoring systems for large-scale applications, ensuring alerts are set up for critical issues.
- Documentation. Creating comprehensive run books, incident response plans, and post-mortem reports with clear mitigation steps.
- Collaboration. Working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand requirements and facilitate seamless integration and deployment.
- DevOps Tools Management. Evaluating, implementing, and managing DevOps tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting. Identifying and resolving performance issues and latencies across various technologies, debugging code issues based on API responses and logs.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud services.
- Proficiency in Linux, scripting, command-line tools, and general system debugging.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, ArgoCD).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards challenges.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience working with large-scale SaaS applications.
