Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management. Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- CI/CD Implementation. Enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes, enabling faster and more reliable releases.
- Containerization and Orchestration. Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to streamline application deployment and scaling.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Implement Infrastructure as Code principles using tools such as Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitoring and Logging. Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Security and Compliance. Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaboration. Work closely with development teams to optimize deployment processes.
- Disaster Recovery Planning. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Scripting and Automation. Develop scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and GCP services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and source control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
