As an Ocean Freight Planner at Genpact, you'll play a vital role in orchestrating daily ocean and airfreight logistics operations for global container deliveries to and from Europe. You'll be the linchpin between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination and execution every step of the way. From collecting transport details to resolving disputes and optimizing KPIs, you'll be at the forefront of driving efficiency and excellence in our logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global ocean/airfreight logistics operations
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Collect transport details and gather necessary documents
• Manage export activities and documentation requirements
• Create orders and shipments for imports and exports
• Handle ocean payment processes, cost verification, and invoicing
• Resolve disputes and reconcile rejected invoices
• Verify additional inland costs for port businesses
• Drive improvements in KPIs and seek opportunities for optimization

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree in logistics
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics
• Strong communication skills in English
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities
• Proactive and self-driven with strong problems-solving skills
