As a Frontend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet specific user needs and business requirements. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to creating functional, user-friendly, and reliable software solutions. Your focus will include testing, debugging, and ensuring applications adhere to high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for segments of end-user applications across various platforms (local, networked, Internet-based).
- Analyze designs and determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on project objectives and product architecture.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified during testing phases.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned application segments.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams to implement new features and functionalities.
- Allocate resources and design detailed plans to ensure applications function properly.
- Lead project teams of engineers and development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
- Communicate effectively with management and development partners on project progress, design status, and issue resolution.
- Represent the frontend development team across all phases of complex development projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 4-7 years of experience in frontend development, applications engineering, or related field; or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience.
- Certification in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, React, HTML).
- Proficiency in Agile Methodology, Amazon Web Services (AWS), API development, DevOps practices, Docker, frontend technologies (JavaScript, React.js, CSS, HTML), Node.js, microservices architecture, and SQL.
