I am looking for another engineer to join my ever growing team that work with big data.
What we do: collect and process vast amount of web data at scale.
Our tech-stack: Python, ReactJS, GoLang, K8S, Pulsar, Druid, Lakehouse
We are a Remote-First company so we don't mind where you work from ... down the road, or Mars ... no matter, so long as you are available for core hours, can solve hard problems with excellent code, play well with others and get the work done!
The position is fully remote and mostly backend in Python with some front-end in ReactJS.
- Want to work on hard engineering problems?
- Experienced full-stack developer with >seriously expert python experience< ?
- Can you demonstrate experience and deep knowledge of working with distributed systems, containers, kubernetes etc?
- Do you have experience and can demonstrate skills in general machine learning/data-science? (yes, data engineering covers that now as well!)
- How about web scraping? ... done that yet? ...we're not talking toy scrapers, but at big-big-big scale ... yes?... awesome, lets talk!!!!
- How about Apache Spark - can you dance like an expert with both streaking data and data at rest?
- We fully expect you are rock solid in git, unit testing, oop, code quality, defensive/secure coding etc, thats a given, right?
- Got an interest in eCommerce data? ... got a PhD or Masters in Analytics? ... we'd love to talk!
