Visa’s Operations & Infrastructure (O&I) team is seeking a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, integrating, and enhancing mission-critical software systems that support our global data center ecosystem.
You’ll work on cutting-edge technology that underpins Visa’s infrastructure collaborating across multiple teams including Data Center Engineering, Hardware and Network Engineering. Key Responsibilities
- Design and build robust front-end web applications using React and JavaScript.
- Develop scalable and efficient back-end systems using C# and .NET Core.
- Integrate background job processing frameworks like Hangfire to support asynchronous workflows.
- Manage relational databases using SQL Server with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver new product features.
- Participate in peer code reviews and ensure software quality standards are met.
- Conduct end-to-end testing including unit, system, and integration tests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, and process flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Support governance tasks including policy adherence and operational compliance.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
- Expertise in full-stack development, with strong proficiency in React and JavaScript on the front end.
- Experience with job processing frameworks like Hangfire.
- Familiarity with Git version control and agile development workflows.
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Angular or Node.js is an advantage.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure systems including compute, storage, network, and virtualization.
- Understanding of cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Strong grasp of software design patterns and architecture best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
