We are seeking experienced Manual Testers with a strong background in travel technology, particularly in GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and ticketing systems. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our travel technology systems and applications. Applicants without relevant experience in GDS and ticketing will not be considered for interviews.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for travel technology systems and applications, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs.
- Documentation. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation for development teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment across departments.
- Testing. Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking, to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business requirements and user expectations.
- Enhancement Identification. Identify and prioritize system enhancements and improvements to enhance the user experience and drive business growth, contributing to the continuous improvement of our travel technology systems.
- Collaboration. Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of system changes and enhancements, fostering collaboration and synergy between QA and development functions.
- Support and Maintenance. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for travel technology systems, troubleshooting issues and resolving defects as needed, to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption to business activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Quality Assurance Analyst in the travel industry.
- Strong understanding of travel technology systems, including GDS platforms, booking engines, and reservation systems.
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
