Job Description

 As a GCP Platform Engineer at Accenture, you will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-performance solutions and drive technology innovation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to design and implement GCP solutions that align with business goals and best practices.
  • Build scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure using GCP services.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor cloud spending.
  • Manage and monitor GCP resources, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify potential issues.
  • Provide 24/7 support for critical cloud infrastructure as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations.
  • Foster a DevOps culture by collaborating with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance cloud infrastructure efficiency.
  • Implement and uphold security best practices for GCP infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Minimum of 5 years in technical solutions implementation, architecture design, and investigation in a cloud environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Skills

  • Proficiency with GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). Associate’s Degree requires a minimum of 6 years of work experience.
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies and automation tools.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with cloud technologies.

Travel

  • Travel may be required, ranging from 25% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
