In this role, you'll leverage your 5+ years of experience to contribute to the design and development of websites, applications, and infrastructure layers. Your technical prowess, coupled with insatiable curiosity and an analytical mindset, will drive impactful solutions that directly influence our business success and that of our esteemed client.
Key Objectives
- Stakeholder Communication. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to track progress on the long-term technology roadmap.
- Workflow Management. Create and maintain workflows to ensure consistent visual designs and balanced workloads across teams.
- Testing Oversight. Develop and oversee testing schedules in the client-server environment, ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices.
- Code Quality. Produce high-quality code to enhance team performance and efficiency.
- System Solutions. Evaluate and recommend systems solutions by weighing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development versus purchased alternatives.
Responsibilities
- Design robust APIs to support both mobile and desktop clients.
- Code, unit test, and build prototypes while resolving issues and analyzing performance bottlenecks.
- Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
- Optimize web applications for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Develop automated tests to meet business needs and facilitate regression testing.
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design principles.
- Proficiency in back-end services development, with experience in technologies such as SpringBoot, Java, Openshift, Kafka, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Expertise in writing highly secure web applications and familiarity with core AWS web-enabling technologies.
- Experience in designing RESTful APIs, particularly for mobile applications (desirable).
