Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and microservices using Java 8 or 11.
  • Implement object-oriented design principles and design patterns to create efficient and scalable applications.
  • Work with Java frameworks, including Spring and Hibernate, to build and manage microservices architecture.
  • Leverage Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
  • Integrate and work with distributed storage systems such as DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
  • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Utilize event brokers like Kafka to manage and process real-time data streams effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

Required Skills

  1. Java 8 or 11. Strong programming skills and experience in developing applications using Java.
  2. Microservices Architecture. Experience with building and managing microservices-based systems.
  3. Spring & Hibernate. Proficiency in using these Java frameworks for application development.
  4. Kubernetes & Docker. Experience with containerization and orchestration of applications.
  5. AWS. Familiarity with AWS cloud services and their application in deployment and management.
  6. Distributed Storage Systems. Experience with DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB.
  7. PostgreSQL. Comfortable working with PostgreSQL databases.
  8. Kafka. Experience with event brokers and real-time data stream processing.
