As a Java Spring Boot Consultant at Infosys, you will play a pivotal role in our consulting team, driving various phases of project execution from initial problem definition to final deployment. Your role involves tackling complex challenges, crafting innovative solutions, and enhancing our clients' digital transformation journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting and Solution Design
- Problem Definition and Analysis. Collaborate with the consulting team to define project problems, estimate efforts, diagnose issues, and design effective solutions.
- Research and POCs. Conduct thorough research, including literature surveys and vendor evaluations, to explore alternative solutions and build Proofs of Concept (POCs).
- Requirements and Design. Translate business needs into comprehensive requirement specifications, define future processes, and create detailed functional designs.
- Configuration and Issue Resolution. Support solution configuration, diagnose root causes of issues, seek clarifications, and identify and shortlist viable solution alternatives.
Client Interaction and Value Delivery
- Client Collaboration. Work closely with clients to identify business challenges, analyze data, and refine client deliverables.
- Quality Solutions. Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to deliver high-quality, value-adding solutions.
Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Technology Awareness. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Process Improvement. Assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technology solutions.
- Domain Knowledge. Leverage one or two industry domain knowledge to enhance project relevance and impact.
Qualifications
- Core Skills. Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with a deep understanding of these technologies.
- Problem Solving. Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaboration. Excellent team collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with clients.
- Industry Knowledge. Familiarity with industry-specific domains and trends is a plus.
