TCS is hosting a Walk-In Drive for the Java Developer role. If you are passionate about Java development and have experience working with Spring Boot and Microservices, we invite you to join us for an in-person interview at our Chennai office.
Key Responsibilities
- Java Development. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust Java applications. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Spring Boot. Build and manage RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. Leverage its features for application performance and security.
- Microservices. Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures, ensuring seamless integration and high availability.
- Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product Management) to deliver high-quality software.
- Problem Solving. Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and ensure the application is scalable, efficient, and easy to maintain.
- Agile Methodology. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Continuous Improvement. Stay up to date with the latest trends in Java and microservices architecture to continuously improve code quality and application performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Core Java. Solid experience with Java 8 or higher, including Object-Oriented Design, Collections, Streams, and Multithreading.
- Spring Boot. Proficiency in developing microservices and APIs using the Spring Boot framework.
- Microservices. Experience with building, deploying, and maintaining microservices in a distributed environment.
- Database. Strong knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and experience in writing optimized queries.
- Tools & Frameworks. Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for DevOps integration.
- Version Control. Proficiency with Git for source code management.
- Experience. 4 to 8 years in Java development with hands-on experience in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
