Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirements Analysis. Participate in the detailed review and assessment of business and system requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and technically feasible.
  2. Design & Documentation. Contribute to system architecture and design sessions. Create well-structured, comprehensive technical documentation and design artifacts, adhering to established patterns and standards.
  3. Code Development. Develop scalable and high-performance microservices using Java 3+, Spring Boot, and Angular. Implement RESTful APIs with Spring REST & JPA.
  4. Cloud & Containerization. Build, deploy, and manage microservices in Docker and Kubernetes environments, leveraging Microsoft Azure for cloud infrastructure and orchestration.
  5. Collaboration & Deployment. Work closely with the Deployment Lead and peer developers to coordinate deployment activities across development, QA, and production environments.
  6. Quality Assurance Support. Assist QA teams by addressing code defects, providing timely fixes, offering technical clarifications, and ensuring smooth deployment cycles.
  7. Version Control & CI/CD. Follow best practices for source control management using GitHub. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins, JUnit, and Splunk.
  8. Mentorship. Guide and mentor junior developers, offering support on technology stacks, project requirements, coding best practices, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development.
  • Proven expertise in Microservices architecture, using technologies including Java (version 3+), Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Data JPA, Angular (latest versions preferred), Docker & Kubernetes, Azure Cloud Services.
  • Strong exposure to CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Jenkins, JUnit, and Splunk.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies with a focus on delivering high-quality, testable code.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and MySQL.
  • Prior experience in vulnerability remediation using tools like Xray, SonarQube, Dependabot, etc.
  • Exposure to customer-facing applications, including UI/UX collaboration and performance tuning.
  • Ability to present and demonstrate technical solutions to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
