Key Responsibilities
Design & Implementation
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions using Java and related technologies.
- Develop RESTful and SOAP-based web services to enable seamless communication between different systems.
- Leverage enterprise integration frameworks such as Apache Camel or Spring Integration to build efficient solutions.
- Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and guidelines across development teams.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, product managers, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best coding practices and design patterns are followed.
- Participate in architectural discussions and recommend best-fit technologies for integration needs.
Security & Performance Optimization
- Ensure integration solutions are highly secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
- Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and API security.
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot integration issues proactively.
Modern Technologies & Cloud Integration
- Work with modern integration technologies such as Kafka, MQ, JMS, and cloud-native solutions.
- Leverage cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for scalable and resilient architectures.
- Ensure solutions are cloud-ready, leveraging containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) where applicable.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in integration and software architecture.
- Continuously improve existing integration solutions to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Mandatory Requirements
Experience
- 12-15+ years of overall experience in software development, with at least 5 years in integration architecture.
- Strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.
Technical Expertise
- Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful & SOAP-based web services.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise integration frameworks such as Apache Camel, Spring Integration.
- Strong knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, MQ, JMS.
- Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience working with microservices architecture and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Soft Skills & Leadership
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with multiple teams.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding development teams.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Java, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Integration Technologies are a plus.
