As a Technology Consultant at Infosys, you will be an integral part of our delivery team, focusing on designing, developing, validating, and supporting high-quality solutions for our clients in the technology domain. You will collaborate closely with Technology Leads, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of projects and the achievement of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to gather detailed requirements and specifications.
- Translate client requirements into clear and concise system requirements.
- Design efficient programs and systems using Java, Springboot, and Microservices architecture.
- Implement scalable solutions that align with industry best practices and client needs.
- Assist in project estimation and planning activities.
- Provide accurate inputs on work requirements to ensure realistic project timelines and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on functional and nonfunctional specifications.
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed software.
- Apply knowledge of design principles, architectural fundamentals, and performance engineering techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends, integrating them into project solutions where applicable.
- Work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative and incremental software solutions.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Document technical designs, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including development, testing, and operations.
- Technical and Professional Requirements:
Primary Skills
- Proficiency in Java programming language (Java - ALL).
- Hands-on experience in developing applications using Springboot framework.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms and services.
- Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Educational Qualifications. Bachelor’s (BE/BTech) or Master’s (ME/MTech/MCA/MSc) degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
