The Lead Administrator will provide technical expertise in the architecture planning and design of platforms, databases, middleware, and backup systems, while managing day-to-day operations to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support architecture planning, migration, and installation for new projects related to platforms, databases, middleware, and backup systems.
- Lead the design of scalable and extensible solutions based on various system requirements.
- Conduct technology capacity planning by assessing current and future requirements.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and develop preventive measures.
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and configurations for the platform.
- Develop a shift roster for team operations to prevent disruptions.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operations manuals, and data architecture guidance.
- Forecast talent needs and manage the recruitment process for team members.
- Train and onboard new team members to enhance their effectiveness.
- Set performance goals for team members and conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions.
- Promote initiatives for employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Track team satisfaction scores and implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
Stakeholder Interaction
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Technology Solutions Group and Infrastructure teams for requirement gathering, planning, and issue resolution.
- Maintain communication with clients and vendors regarding project updates, maintenance, and support.
