Job Description

The Lead Administrator will provide technical expertise in the architecture planning and design of platforms, databases, middleware, and backup systems, while managing day-to-day operations to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support architecture planning, migration, and installation for new projects related to platforms, databases, middleware, and backup systems.
  • Lead the design of scalable and extensible solutions based on various system requirements.
  • Conduct technology capacity planning by assessing current and future requirements.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and develop preventive measures.
  • Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and configurations for the platform.
  • Develop a shift roster for team operations to prevent disruptions.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operations manuals, and data architecture guidance.
  • Forecast talent needs and manage the recruitment process for team members.
  • Train and onboard new team members to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Set performance goals for team members and conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Promote initiatives for employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Track team satisfaction scores and implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Technology Solutions Group and Infrastructure teams for requirement gathering, planning, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain communication with clients and vendors regarding project updates, maintenance, and support.
