Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic vision and content design outcomes, providing clear direction for our customer experiences across the Ops landscape.
  • Apply your systems thinking and ability to understand complex relationships between various products, channels, and features to drive better content design outcomes.
  • Utilize your strong skillset in content strategy, content operations, and visual communications to communicate your work for influence and impact.
  • Drive design reviews and critiques, serving as the content design craft leader to coach other designers and ensure consistent and cohesive AI experiences.
  • Partner with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional team members to create a unified content design view of AI capabilities across Atlassian.
  • Drive content research to evaluate content patterns and insights into language and approach.
  • Lead design projects from creation to execution, ensuring they tie back to customer value delivery and outcomes.
  • Identify success metrics to ensure design solutions continue to deliver customer value.
  • Collaborate with some of the industry's smartest (and nicest) people, including Engineers, Product Managers, Product Designers, Researchers, Marketing Experts, and Analysts, to advocate for the user experience in our products and ship high-quality work.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of content design experience, particularly in designing complex or enterprise-level software.
  • Experience in creating and delivering content strategy across an organization, impacting multiple delivery teams.
  • Experience in end-to-end content design outcomes and providing impactful solutions to challenging problems.
  • A passion for storytelling and the ability to bring design direction to life with a compelling narrative.
  • Experience balancing customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibility.
  • Facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to integrate the work of multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions that lead to company-wide outcomes and positively influence future delivery roadmaps.
  • Experience in design systems, with the ability to identify common content patterns and frameworks to support a wide array of customer use cases.
  • Experience measuring success with qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Experience improving processes and methodologies to increase product value, team velocity, and accelerate the adoption of new capabilities.
