The Lead Developer will be responsible for architecting, building, and supporting innovative and reliable solutions. This individual must demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Microsoft's Visual Studio (Visual C#), .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on technical and team leadership to a small focused team in the development and enhancement of our software products.
• Drive and manage continuous improvement of our software development process.
• Develop and manage to project milestone plans and estimates.
• Establish release schedule and keep the team on track to meet it.
• Work with end users and end user representatives to define and communicate requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years experience using Visual Studio and the C# programming language to develop commercial software.
• 5 years on a development team using an agile or equivalent process with 3 years at a leadership or Scrum Master level.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Experience:
• Previous experience architecting Windows .net and .net compact framework software applications.
• Excellent technical knowledge in Windows based software development for desktop, Windows Mobile and Windows CE embedded applications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Experience and a well defined approach to analyzing end user needs and translating their requirements into a design specification that meets those needs.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment managing multiple projects and provide leadership to get the best from team members.
• Experience with modern configuration management, version control, continuous integration and unit testing methodologies, tools and practices.
• Other skills and abilities, particularly those related to database design and embedded system tool chains and test equipment, are a definite asset in this position.
