Job Summary
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for executing software solutions, providing technical troubleshooting, and thinking innovatively to address complex challenges. Your role includes creating secure, high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture and design artifacts for sophisticated applications. Your contributions will span various technical areas, supporting different business functions and driving continuous improvement in software applications and systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute software solutions with a focus on innovative problem-solving.
- Develop secure and high-quality production code, ensuring synchronous operation with systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
- Analyze and synthesize large, diverse datasets to drive continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.
- Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with expertise in Java full-stack, AWS.
- Hands-on experience in spring boot and microservices development.
- Experience with private cloud applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
- Proficiency in developing applications using JavaScript frameworks, preferably React JS.
- Working knowledge of AWS, with a preference for developing microservices on AWS using ECS.
- Understanding of Maven plugin architecture and exposure to custom plugin development.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and the ability to lead/mentor team members on technologies.
- Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems.
- Preferred 10+ years of IT experience.
