We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead our HR Operations team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional support throughout the employee lifecycle, from hire to retire. You will oversee teams that provide support to candidates, employees, alumni, and centers of excellence (COEs) globally.
Responsibilities
Service Transition
- Understand and review global business transition plans, providing insights on potential risks.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to execute transition plans, ensuring seamless go-lives.
Service Delivery Management
- Own, enhance, and manage Tier 1 service delivery, meeting and exceeding service benchmarks.
- Track performance metrics, identify process gaps, and implement improvements.
- Develop and execute risk reduction plans based on FMEA results.
- Drive process maturity by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and implementing actions to enhance maturity scores.
Scale
- Standardize processes, address regional exceptions, and leverage technology to automate processes.
- Collaborate with knowledge teams to enhance case deflection through enriched content.
- Resolve complex issues related to policies, processes, and practices.
Partnerships & Communications
- Partner with regional management, SMEs, HR stakeholders, and other teams (e.g., payroll, IT, Legal) on performance issues and escalations.
- Manage the dissemination of process and policy updates, work with IC3 on SOP revisions, and prepare the team for new/revised processes.
- Maintain positive working relationships within the team and with employees and partners through effective communication and feedback solicitation.
Develop
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture and operational excellence.
- Mentor and coach team members to reach their highest potential.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years in HR Operations with a strong background in process transition and service delivery in a shared services environment.
- 6+ years of experience in management and leadership roles.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end centralization projects and adopting transition methodologies.
- Experience in managing large organizations and building cross-functional partnerships.
- Familiarity with process standardization and automation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong leadership presence with exceptional collaboration skills.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Expertise in resolving complex customer issues through data analysis and process understanding.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems design, HR reporting, workflow, and auditing requirements (experience with Smart Recruiters, Workday, and ServiceNow preferred).
- Proficiency in analytics, critical thinking, and sound decision-making.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with LEAN experience considered an asset.
- Innovative and solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
