Adobe is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our development team as a Member Technical Staff-II (Front-end). In this role, you will be integral to the development of Adobe Guides, a powerful document processing tool designed for complex document creation and editing. You will be responsible for developing new features, maintaining existing ones, and overseeing the entire development lifecycle from initial concept through to release.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development. Contribute to the conceptualization, design, and development of new features for Adobe Guides. Ensure high-quality software development by handling all phases from early specs and definition to release.
- Hands-On Development. Implement features, provide fixes or workarounds for problems, and work on both current and future Adobe products on Windows platforms.
- Problem Solving. Offer quick solutions to issues, improve product/component performance, and enhance usability and reliability.
- Testing and Optimization. Conduct unit testing of application software, estimate efforts, analyze risks, and ensure that the software meets performance and security standards.
Requirements
- Educational Background. B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a reputed institution.
- Experience. 1-4 years of experience in software development.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.JS.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including architecture, design, and performance.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Windows Programming (MFC, WIN 32) is preferred.
- Exposure to product security domain is advantageous.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of product life cycles and associated challenges.
