We are seeking a Prompt Engineer to join our Data Science team. This role involves creating, refining, and fine-tuning AI-generated text prompts to enhance the performance of our AI systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address analytical challenges through prompt engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to design AI-generated text prompts for various applications.
- Ensure prompts align with business objectives and user requirements.
- Enhance the prompt creation process to improve overall system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning.
- Educate teams on efficient prompt engineering best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end products and features.
- Multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements.
- Estimate efforts, identify risks, devise project schedules, and ensure timely closure of open issues.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a prompt engineer or in a related position.
- Expert knowledge in Python.
- Experience with frameworks that optimize prompt engineering (e.g., LangChain, CrewaI).
- Experience using large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini).
- Understanding of statistical concepts for A/B testing of prompts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Flask, Gunicorn.
- Proficiency in open-source libraries like SpaCy, NLTK, Gensim.
- Knowledge of software stack components, including common programming languages, back-end technologies, database modeling, continuous integration, service-oriented architecture, and software testability.
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing software.
Experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Module Lead or in a similar role, focusing on prompt engineering.
