Job Description

As a MuleSoft Engineer at HP, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining complex integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform. This position requires a deep understanding of MuleSoft, Java programming, and integration concepts, along with expertise in REST APIs, JSON, XML, and cloud platforms. Your work will involve creating seamless integrations between systems, leading projects, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Integration Design and Implementation. Design and implement complex integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform to connect various systems and applications effectively.
  2. Code Development. Write, test, and maintain MuleSoft code, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
  3. Troubleshooting and Debugging. Identify and resolve integration issues, applying strong problem-solving skills to maintain system stability.
  4. Mentoring. Provide guidance and leadership to junior developers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  5. Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their integration needs.
  6. Code Reviews. Participate in and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
  7. Continuous Learning. Stay current with new MuleSoft releases and features, continuously adapting to new technologies.

Required Skills

  1. Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  2. Alternatively, a Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  3. MuleSoft Expertise. Extensive experience with the MuleSoft platform and integration design.
  4. Programming Skills. Advanced proficiency in Java programming, with at least 5 years of experience. Additional experience with languages like C, C++, C#, or Python is beneficial.
  5. Integration Knowledge. Advanced knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  6. Cloud Knowledge. Experience with AWS cloud platform is preferred.
  7. Database Skills. Over 5 years of experience working with databases and database administration.
  8. Testing Proficiency. Expertise in software test methodologies and testing tools.
  9. DevOps Experience. Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies.
  10. Communication Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Leadership and Collaboration. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
