Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled .NET Developer for a 1-month contract to work remotely from India. This position is critical for a large airline client undergoing a significant migration project. You will play a key role in migrating code and ensuring compatibility as the client transitions from Windows 2012 to Windows 2019.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Migration Support. Assist in migrating code and applications from Windows 2012 to Windows 2019.
  2. Code Management. Spend approximately 75% of your time copying code, running tests, and performing operation testing to ensure smooth migration.
  3. Updates & Communication. Dedicate around 25% of your time to writing status updates and performing code updates. Provide daily updates to the team before logging off.
  4. Issue Resolution. Identify and address any compatibility issues during the migration process.
  5. Collaboration. Work closely with the Application Development team to support various business applications.

Must-Have Qualifications

  1. Experience. 5-7 years as a .NET Developer with strong hands-on experience.
  2. Technical Skills. Proficiency in Azure API Management and Microsoft IIS.
  3. Availability. Ability to work until at least 11 AM EST.
  4. Communication. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and daily updates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Migration Experience. Prior experience with migrating from Windows 2012 to Windows 2019 is highly desirable.

  1. Work Schedule. This role involves working remotely with a focus on code migration, testing, and communication.
