As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our clients' networks. You'll be responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting complex network environments, implementing security measures, and supporting cloud and wireless technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Switching & Routing Technologies
- Configure and troubleshoot network switches, including VLANs, trunking, ACL, port channel, port mirroring, and Spanning Tree Protocol.
- Implement and manage Layer 2 redundancy protocols such as HSRP, VRRP, or GLBP.
- Expertise in handling and troubleshooting various routing protocols.
Security Technologies
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE and 802.1x authentication methodologies.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting multivendor firewalls, with a preference for Cisco and FortiGate.
Cloud Technologies
- Solid understanding of Azure networking fundamentals and cloud architecture.
Wireless Technology (Good to Have)
- Exposure to Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Wireless Access Points (WAPs) is advantageous.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-6 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security frameworks.
- Proficiency in FortiGate and Cisco firewall solutions.
- Experience with Azure networking and cloud technologies.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
