As a Network Security Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team contributing to various stages of the consulting lifecycle. Your role involves defining problems, proposing solutions, and guiding teams through project processes. You'll also be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure components, ensuring stability and availability, and providing specialized support.
Responsibilities
- Capacity Planning & Performance Monitoring. Manage capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning of infrastructure components.
- Technical Support. Provide escalated support and technical assistance, monitor issue resolution, and ensure timely resolution.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery. Design and implement backup and recovery procedures, and conduct effective disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Problem Determination. Conduct problem determination and root cause analysis, ensuring permanent corrective actions.
- Change Implementation. Plan, review, and implement infrastructure changes to ensure successful outcomes.
- Datacenter Technologies. Work with datacenter technologies, including DCNM tools, EVPN, and firewall/load balancer technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Datacenter & Network Technologies. Hands-on experience with datacenter networks, DCNM tools, EVPN, and network infrastructure.
- Firewall & Load Balancer. Experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint, Juniper) and load balancers (F5, NetScaler).
- Routing & Switching. Knowledge of routing, switching, Infoblox, DNS, and Gigamon.
- Documentation & Implementation. Ability to create network design documentation and strong implementation/build capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Extensive experience in datacenter technologies and network design.
- Hands-on experience with specific tools and technologies listed in the required skills.
