You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network engineers, and product managers, to ensure our networking infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and high-performing. Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- At least 1 year of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) in languages such as C++ or Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in managing live networks, especially in an Internet Service Provider (ISP) environment, managing customer networks, testing networking products, and working with real-world deployment scenarios.
- Strong background in Network Test Automation, understanding of networking protocols, and expertise in network troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems, including scripting and system administration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and executing test plans for various networking features, equipment, and systems to ensure their reliability and performance.
- Building and deploying testbeds that simulate real-world networking environments for testing software infrastructure.
- Developing test automation tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in network testing.
- Collaborating with software development and hardware engineering teams to enhance networking solutions and validate software and hardware systems.
- Certifying software releases for production use by conducting rigorous testing and validation procedures.
- Prioritizing test cases and evaluating release-blocking issues to manage feature and resource allocation for each release cycle.
- Contributing innovative ideas and proposing multiple solutions to complex networking challenges to improve overall system performance.
- Acting as a subject-matter expert in network test engineering, helping define best practices and improving testing methodologies.
