Job Title. Financial Systems Support Specialist

Responsibilities

1. Documentation Management

   • Maintain user documentation, training materials, and user guides.
   • Manage Excel-based data upload templates.

2. User Support and Training

   • Deliver ad-hoc end-user training.
   • Provide additional guidance to resolve issues arising from gaps in user knowledge.

3. Data Management

   • Support data import queries, including explaining data lineage within the OneStream application.
   • Manage monthly exchange rates loading process and resolve related issues.
   • Configure confirmation rule tolerances and settings.
   • Undertake regular application backups.

4. Application Management

   • Manage multiple development, test, and production applications across environments.
   • Manage automated data integration processes.
   • Coordinate with technical and functional teams for data integrations from source systems.

5. Database Management

   • Liaise with DBAs for database table creation, copying, and renaming.

6. Finance Integration and Change Management

   • Maintain integrated chart of accounts (CoA) and work closely with Finance stakeholders.
   • Assist users in submitting change requests and provide system solutions.
   • Manage the pipeline of change requests, including resource allocation and implementation timelines.

7. System Configuration and Governance

   • Implement low-to-medium complexity configuration changes.
   • Ensure appropriate governance and controls during development.
   • Follow release cycles and undertake data reconciliation post-configuration changes.

8. Incident Management

   • Identify and resolve incidents within the OneStream application.
   • Liaise with external support for incident resolution.
   • Maintain incident documentation and risk control matrix.

9. Compliance and Audit

   • Participate in the annual SOX review.
   • Perform monthly reviews of OneStream audit reports.
   • Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

10. Stakeholder Management

    • Manage relationships between OneStream support and key IT teams.
    • Review and approve/deny change requests raised by infrastructure teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in developing and supporting large financial consolidation solutions in OneStream or HFM.
• Proficiency in VBScript and VBA programming.
• Experience in configuring data integrations with various platforms including Workday, Cognos, Oracle Financials, etc.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Understanding of insurance accounting and Group financial reporting processes.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in discussing complex accounting treatments and systems solutions with Finance stakeholders.
• Accounting qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in stakeholder management, including senior Finance stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements and experience in designing and operating compliant processes.
• Experience liaising with internal and external auditors.
