Your Role and Responsibilities
- Monitoring and Analysis. Monitor and analyze the performance of Linux, KVM, and dependent libraries.
- Performance Optimization. Identify performance bottlenecks in the stack and pinpoint root causes, striving for continuous improvement.
- Solution-oriented Approach. Enjoy diving deep into system and software architecture to find solutions to complex problems.
- Reporting and Recommendations. Create detailed reports and recommendations to enhance overall performance.
- Collaboration. Work closely with developers to resolve performance issues and implement best practices for optimization.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Performance Analyst or in a related field.
- Tool Proficiency. Profound knowledge of performance tools and methods, including experience with performance tests and measurements.
- Communication. Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Open Source Contributions. Prior contributions to Open Source projects are preferred.
- Technical Skills. Experience with Linux OS, scripting (Python, Shell), and familiarity with IBM Z architecture, networking, and storage concepts. Experience with Linux on IBM Z and Linux command line tools is a plus.
