L&T Technology Services is seeking a skilled Synthesis/STA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA), with a proven track record in handling complex, multi-million gate data paths. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with physical synthesis tools, debugging skills, and a strong ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Complex Data Path Synthesis. Manage and execute synthesis for multi-million gate data paths, ensuring accurate and efficient design implementation.
- Physical Synthesis. Utilize tools such as Genus and Fusion Compiler for physical synthesis tasks.
- Timing Analysis. Perform hierarchical and flat timing analysis across multiple clock domains, addressing any timing issues.
- Power Domain Synthesis. Conduct multi-power domain synthesis and structural power checks using Clock Gating and Power Gating (CLP).
- Formal Verification. Apply formal verification techniques to ensure design correctness and resolve issues effectively.
- Timing Closure. Achieve timing closure and collaborate with Design for Test (DFT) and Power Delivery (PD) teams.
- Trade-off Analysis. Analyze trade-offs between timing, area, power, and congestion to optimize design performance.
- Scripting. Utilize TCL scripting for automation and tool interaction in Synthesis/STA processes.
- Team Collaboration. Work proactively with stakeholders and team members, showcasing strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Experience. Minimum of 3 years in Synthesis/STA roles with a focus on complex data paths.
- Technical Skills. Proficiency in tools like Genus and Fusion Compiler, and experience with multi-power domain synthesis and formal verification.
- Scripting. Knowledge of TCL scripting for synthesis and STA tasks.
- Soft Skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, team-oriented, and the ability to work independently.
