Responsibilities
- Product Strategy Development. Lead the formulation of a comprehensive enterprise backup solution strategy, ensuring differentiation in the market.
- Market Understanding. Develop a deep understanding of database backup technologies, market trends, and customer requirements to shape product strategy effectively.
- Collaboration. Partner with Google Backup and Storage teams to devise joint product strategies and execution plans, centralizing backup solutions for Cloud SQL.
- Integration Strategy. Create strategies to streamline integration of SaaS backup products with Cloud SQL, reducing friction for users.
- Innovation and Optimization. Innovate on product and pricing strategies to optimize backup costs and enhance user experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in product management.
- Experience with relational databases and building cloud database services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building SaaS database backup services and solutions.
- Experience managing business strategy and execution.
- Experience working with relational databases, with an understanding of underlying storage and backup capabilities.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and storage technologies.
- Ability to work with executives, product leaders, and executive engineering leaders across Google.
