Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in managing the transition of over 100 roles from various countries to India, a groundbreaking initiative in our industry. This role focuses on building capabilities across people, processes, and technology to ensure a seamless Go-Live. You will employ a collaborative, persuasive, and proactive approach throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Planning and Executing Transitions Strategy. Develop a comprehensive strategy, framework, process milestones, and governance to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  2. Collaboration. Manage day-to-day business operations while overseeing various business line projects.
  3. Controls and Governance. Lead short and long-term planning, monitor project and jurisdictional KPIs, and enhance execution efficiency through systems and best practices.
  4. Stakeholder Management. Effectively communicate with stakeholders including Country MDs, Process leads, India Leadership team, Directors, and Regional Heads.
  5. Monitoring and Reporting Progress. Drive deliveries across businesses and functions, provide regular project status updates, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks.
  6. Ensuring Compliance. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and standards throughout the migration process.
  7. Communication and Collaboration. Build strong relationships and effectively interact with senior management, translating discussions into actionable plans.
  8. Risk Management. Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and document all aspects of the transition process.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement

  1. Domain Specialism. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, AGILE certified, ideally from BFSI/Compliance/Legal domain. Experience in role migrations from EMEA and Americas is advantageous. PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  2. Experience. Minimum 12 years of experience in project and change management, with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.
  3. Communication and Presentation Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management forums.
  4. Data Management and Analytical Skills. Proficient in analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions to drive process improvements.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills. Capable of identifying issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Adaptability. Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  7. Independent Worker. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Attention to Detail. Detail-oriented with a clear understanding of the big picture.
