We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex projects at Wipro. This role is pivotal in managing project operations, ensuring seamless delivery, maintaining client relationships, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, client management skills, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution. Ensure the seamless delivery of projects by deploying an optimal delivery structure post-transition. Evaluate budget, costs, risks, and staffing requirements.
- Project Planning. Develop quarterly project charters with well-defined weekly trajectories. Ensure adherence to schedule, quality, effort, and costs.
- Compliance Management. Achieve 100% compliance with Project SLAs and contractual obligations. Address audit findings and ensure adherence to information security protocols.
- Quality Assurance. Regularly audit the quality status of delivery. Liaise with the Workforce Management Group (WMG) and maintain project documentation in Confluence and SAP.
- Engagement. Build and sustain strong client relationships by deploying multiple solutions. Conduct regular meetings, visits, and video conferences with clients.
- Opportunity Development. Identify and act on opportunities to expand within the account. Manage early warnings to prevent client escalations and drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Reporting. Generate and analyze MIS reports to track project performance. Conduct reviews to assess operational, quality, and fulfillment parameters.
- Risk Mitigation. Identify potential risks and manage them proactively. Escalate deviations from the project charter and provide inputs on delivery performance.
- Automation Initiatives. Identify automation opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance productivity and quality. Collaborate with tools teams to integrate new technologies.
- Innovation. Promote innovation through brainstorming and idea campaigns. Implement and share best practices to improve project delivery.
- Forecasting. Conduct demand forecasting and resource planning. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Training and Upskilling. Drive compliance with training requirements and manage career development for team members. Oversee fresher engagement programs.
- Resourcing. Forecast and meet talent requirements. Hire and onboard the right resources.
- Talent Management. Manage team performance, career progression, and employee satisfaction. Foster diversity and engagement within the team.
- Internal Stakeholders. Collaborate with delivery managers, transition teams, quality teams, HR, finance, and other internal stakeholders for effective project management.
- External Stakeholders. Engage with clients, vendors, and partners to manage relationships and resource needs.
Required Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- Experience. 8+ years of project management experience in IT or a related industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
