Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction. You will play a pivotal role in resource planning, risk management, and quality assurance, driving the team towards excellence in project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Execution. Lead the project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  2. Charter Development. Create and maintain a quarterly project charter with detailed action plans and milestones.
  3. SLA Compliance. Ensure strict compliance with all project SLAs and contractual obligations, proactively managing any deviations.
  4. Audit Readiness. Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to maintain compliance and address any findings promptly.
  5. Engagement Strategy. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  6. Feedback Loop. Establish regular touchpoints for feedback and continuous improvement, enhancing the client experience.
  7. Business Development. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services, presenting tailored solutions to clients.
  8. Performance Monitoring. Develop and track KPIs to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Risk Management. Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or budget overruns.
  10. Quality Assurance. Engage with the Quality Assurance team to ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards.
  11. Resource Planning. Forecast talent requirements and manage resource allocation to meet project demands effectively.
  12. Training Programs. Collaborate with HR and training teams to design and implement training initiatives for skill development.

Team Management

  1. Leadership. Provide direction and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  2. Performance Reviews. Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and facilitating career development discussions.
  3. Engagement Initiatives. Drive team engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention, ensuring a motivated workforce.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, with a track record of successful delivery.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (JIRA, MS Project, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with technologies relevant to project delivery, including cloud computing, data analytics, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of financial management principles to oversee project budgets effectively.

Qualifications

  1. Education. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (PMP, Scrum Master) are preferred.
  2. Experience. 5+ years of project management experience in the IT sector, with demonstrated success in client-facing roles.
