Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Python Design Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a crucial member of the verification team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our semiconductor products. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Python, IPXact, and RAL and have significant verification experience in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement verification plans.
- Develop and maintain Python-based testbenches and verification environments.
- Utilize IPXact and Register Abstraction Layer (RAL) methodologies to enhance verification efficiency.
- Conduct functional and performance verification of complex semiconductor designs.
- Debug and resolve issues identified during the verification process.
- Contribute to the improvement of verification methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in Python-based design verification.
- Proficiency in IPXact and Register Abstraction Layer (RAL) methodologies.
- Solid understanding of digital design and verification principles.
- Experience with verification tools and methodologies in a semiconductor environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Knowledge of industry-standard protocols and interfaces.
- Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as TCL or Perl.
- Exposure to formal verification methodologies.
