We're seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our telecom test solution engineering team and work with one of Luxoft's clients. You'll be a crucial member of the team contributing to a suite of products utilized for functional, system integration, capacity, and stress testing in the telecommunications domain. Our solutions emulate thousands of mobile devices across multiple cells to facilitate testing of 4G and 5G Base Stations.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the full development lifecycle for new features, from specification writing to design, implementation, and testing, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
- Deliver new features to the product, from design through to development and testing, with prototyping when necessary.
- Ensure product quality and performance through automated tests integrated within a Continuous Integration system.
- Identify and address architectural bottlenecks, providing solutions that enhance our customers' experience.
- Develop a configuration and management interface that effectively showcases our product's features and capabilities.
- Enhance our solution's intelligence, integration capabilities, and diagnostic functionalities to better serve our customers.
- Collaborate effectively with the Test & Verification team to resolve issues.
Skills - Must Have
- Minimum of 3 years of overall software developer experience, preferably with Python-related applications.
- Proficiency in Python Version 3, with at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience with asynchronous programming, with a minimum of 1 year.
- Familiarity with databases such as InfluxDB, RedisDB, PostgreSQL, or similar SQL databases, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in building APIs with REST and handling JSON payloads, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Experience with gRPC, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Familiarity with WebSockets, with at least 1 year of experience.
