Your Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the Z Software AI team, you'll lead the charge in designing and engineering test solutions that push the boundaries of AI technology. Your responsibilities will include.
- Participating in the design and implementation of sophisticated software systems.
- Collaborating with Product Architects and Product Managers to prioritize tasks and execute projects effectively.
- Creating comprehensive test plans and executing them meticulously.
- Automating test cases to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Understanding AI principles and applying them to test AI-generated content and code.
- Contributing to the development of AI-driven solutions that bring value to IBM clients.
- Adhering to professional software engineering practices, including Agile Software Development and Test-Driven Development.
- Ensuring compliance with various software engineering, support, and release processes.
Skills You Will Develop
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLM).
- Proficiency in testing AI applications and addressing related challenges.
- Familiarity with the business applications of AI and its impact on various industries.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8+ years of industry experience in testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in Selenium, Java, Python, Node.js, Go, JavaScript, Git, Postman, JSON, and Open API spec.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and integration with multiple tools.
- Expertise in testing principles/methods/concepts with a focus on software quality.
- Domain expertise in Rest API testing, web application testing, and cross-browser testing.
- Leadership skills in driving test planning and execution to improve test velocity.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Exposure to container management technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in z/OS and mainframe technologies.
- Skills in COBOL would be a plus.
- Ability to define test strategies encompassing both AI and non-AI solutions.
