System Soft Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing QA team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of both internal and external software solutions. You’ll work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders across the software development lifecycle to ensure that quality is embedded from the very beginning.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with functional testing, automation testing, and performance testing. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, maintaining automated test scripts, and contributing to performance benchmarking. Key Responsibilities
Functional Testing
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
- Create and update comprehensive test plans using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Excel.
- Design and maintain detailed test cases to cover both functional and regression testing scenarios.
- Execute test cases for both backend APIs (using Postman Collections) and end-to-end workflows across applications.
- Log defects, track their resolution, and ensure the delivery of high-quality releases.
- Prepare and share test execution reports, clearly highlighting risks, issues, and progress.
- Participate in client and internal demos, showcasing testing outcomes and build quality.
Automation Testing
- Develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, and similar technologies.
- Maintain and enhance the internal test automation framework.
- Integrate automation testing with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for continuous testing and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to expand test automation coverage and improve testing efficiency.
Performance Testing
- Plan and execute performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Appium.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with development teams to optimize performance.
- Generate detailed reports and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in functional testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Minimum of 1 year of automation testing experience using Selenium, TestNG, Appium, or similar tools.
- Proficient in API testing using Postman, including writing and executing Postman Collections.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines integration, particularly within Azure DevOps.
- At least 1 year of performance testing experience using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience in creating test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and domains.
- Experience in the Healthcare domain is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
