As a React JS Developer at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in developing bespoke applications within the banking domain. This role involves interacting with clients to gather technical requirements, designing and developing technical components, and ensuring that your solutions make a significant impact on enterprises and communities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React JS, focusing on creating dynamic, high-performance single-page applications (SPAs).
- Utilize HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to build responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Apply extensive experience with React JS and Redux to enhance application performance and user experience.
- Develop and integrate UI/UX components, and work with API developers to ensure seamless functionality.
- Leverage your knowledge of MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) and various web technologies (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap) to create robust solutions.
- Integrate front-end components with back-end systems, utilizing technologies such as RESTful APIs and SOAP.
- Work with Java and J2EE technologies (Spring, Hibernate) for backend development and system integration.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, implementation, and maintenance.
- Implement Agile and SCRUM methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Conduct unit testing using frameworks like Jasmine and Karma to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Use debugging tools and version control systems (Git, SVN) to manage and refine codebase.
- Interface with clients to elicit technical requirements and provide expert recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and review artifacts, and document results.
Skills and Competencies
- Over 8 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years of extensive experience as a React JS Developer and 3 years as a UI/UX Developer or API Developer.
- Proficiency in web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, React JS, Redux, Angular JS, Node.js.
- Experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, PL/SQL, and various database systems (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
Tools and Frameworks
- Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse, Web Storm, Sublime Text, and debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome Developer Tools.
- Expertise in using front-end frameworks and libraries, including Bootstrap and Angular JS.
- Excellent customer interfacing skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field. Consideration will also be given to candidates with three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology, with a strong background in React JS development and UI/UX design.
