We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced and collaborative team. This is a Senior Associate level position, ideal for professionals who have strong hands-on experience in Salesforce implementations, release management, CI/CD setup, and DevOps tools.
As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering scalable and automated DevOps solutions to support development and deployment across Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, manage sandbox and production deployments, and support the complete release lifecycle in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AutoRabit, or Azure DevOps.
- Set up and manage source control systems (e.g., GitHub), ensuring version control and smooth integration with deployment processes.
- Manage and support Salesforce release management across various environments, including sandbox and scratch org deployments.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment strategies and optimize automation processes.
- Maintain and document release procedures, including rollback strategies and post-deployment validations.
- Coordinate and support overlapping product release cycles, ensuring zero downtime and consistent application performance.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform enhancements, including 2nd generation managed packages and unlocked packages.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum methodology, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot issues across environments and assist in root cause analysis during deployment failures.
- Promote DevOps best practices across the organization to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- 2+ years of experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools like Jenkins, AutoRabit, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding and experience with version control systems like GitHub.
- Proficiency in managing and deploying across various Salesforce environments, including sandbox and scratch orgs.
- Experience working in Agile environments and managing concurrent release cycles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of 2nd generation packages (Managed and Unlocked).
- Exposure to Salesforce DX.
- Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure, or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience documenting DevOps practices and contributing to internal knowledge bases.
