We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Platform Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our SAS infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and performance. This role requires expertise in SAS software installation, patching, and troubleshooting, as well as a deep understanding of SAS Foundation 9.4, SAS Metadata, and Platform LSF Suite. The candidate should be adept at handling certificate installations and renewals, as well as maturing new versions of SAS.
Key Responsibilities

SAS Infrastructure Maintenance. Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of SAS infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Installation and Patching. Install and patch SAS software as necessary, keeping the environment up-to-date with the latest releases and security patches.

Deep Knowledge of SAS Components. Possess in-depth knowledge of SAS Foundation 9.4, SAS Metadata, Platform LSF Suite, and other relevant components of the SAS ecosystem.

Certificate Management. Handle certificate installations and renewals, ensuring secure communication within the SAS environment.

Version Management. Manage the process of maturing new versions of SAS, including testing and deployment in production environments.

Incident Resolution. Proactively identify and resolve incidents, investigating root causes to prevent future occurrences.

Performance Troubleshooting. Monitor and optimize SAS performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise to maintain optimal system performance.

On-call Rotation. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide support and address any urgent issues outside of regular business hours.

Capacity Management. Monitor system capacity and resource utilization, making recommendations for scaling infrastructure as needed to support growing demands.

Project Support. Collaborate with project teams to design and implement SAS solutions, providing expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a SAS Platform Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SAS software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in SAS Foundation 9.4, SAS Metadata, and Platform LSF Suite.
- Experience with certificate management and renewals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
