We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master with a minimum of 10 years of proven expertise in Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating the adoption and implementation of Scrum practices, coaching teams to achieve their full potential, and driving continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Coaching. Mentor and coach multiple Scrum teams on Agile best practices, ensuring a deep understanding and adherence to Scrum principles.
- Facilitation. Lead Scrum ceremonies—including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives—fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency.
- Stakeholder Management. Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and leadership to align on product vision, backlog prioritization, and project deliverables.
- Impediment Removal. Proactively identify and address impediments that may hinder team progress, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Metrics and Reporting. Utilize Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to monitor team performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and feedback loops, encouraging teams to innovate and enhance their processes.
- Training and Development. Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate teams on Agile practices and principles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work closely with other Scrum Masters to align practices across teams and ensure successful delivery of projects.
Qualifications
- Experience. 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Certification. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe).
- Leadership. Proven experience leading multiple Agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Tools. Proficient in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).
- Adaptability. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scaling Agile. Experience in scaling Agile practices in large organizations (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- DevOps Familiarity. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
- Technical Background. Previous experience in a technical role (e.g., software development, IT) is a plus.
