We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our team and lead the adoption and implementation of the Scrum framework within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles and the ability to facilitate the Scrum process, ensuring that our teams deliver high-quality products and services that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Agile Guidance. Coach the Scrum team on how to use Agile practices and principles effectively, ensuring the team delivers high-quality products and services to customers.
- Team Performance. Assess and foster team performance by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, offering coaching and development techniques as needed.
- Scrum Adherence. Ensure the team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and guidelines, supporting continuous improvement.
- Self-organization. Empower the Scrum team to self-organize, cross-train, and communicate effectively both within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Communication. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive decision-making and support organizational product teams.
- Impediment Removal. Proactively identify and resolve obstacles that hinder the team’s progress, collaborating with other Scrum Masters to ensure effective Scrum practices across the organization.
Technical Responsibilities
- Software Integration and Optimization. Manage the integration of orchestration and optimization algorithms into the software product, ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap.
- Feature Prioritization. Collaborate with the technology manager and technical contributors to define and prioritize the software feature list, balancing product requirements with operational needs.
- Algorithm Review. Ensure developed algorithms follow best coding practices, optimizing them for real-time decision-making and closed-loop automation.
- Cross-functional Coordination. Work closely with engineers from multiple disciplines to ensure seamless integration of complex systems into the software stack.
Qualifications
- Agile Expertise. Solid understanding of the Agile development process, with a track record of successfully implementing Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Technical Business Analyst/Scrum Master Experience. Prior experience as a Scrum Master, with the ability to manage software product development and integration projects.
- Industry Knowledge. A general understanding of drilling processes (such as on-bottom drilling, hydraulic management, and tripping) is a plus, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement in the technology stack.
- Communication Skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify dysfunctions, resolve issues, and continuously improve team performance.
