We are seeking an enthusiastic integration professional with proven API Management and Integration technical skills to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience designing integration solutions using API (Mulesoft, APIGEE, AXWAY, or similar) and Microservices Architecture (SpringBoot, Node.js) and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Recommend integration options based on requirements and implement integration patterns.
- Design and integrate REST/SOAP web service/API using Mulesoft, Apigee, Axway, or similar products.
- Prioritize and respond to changing customer priorities in an agile environment.
- Independently manage tasks with minimal assistance and efficiently communicate with client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Suggest solution alternatives and technology recommendations.
Skills/Competencies
Essential
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with at least 3+ years matching API developer skillset.
- Proven hands-on API Development using Java Springboot.
- Experience in Spring framework, Java programming, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Webservices.
- Understanding of API & Microservices design, deployment, security, performance, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency with delivery tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, Junit, Test Automation, and SonarQube.
- Strong debugging skills for client and server-side components.
- Experience with databases, Hibernate/JPA, and the ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver to timelines, mentor junior members, and collaborate with stakeholders and peers.
Preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to write design documents and estimate end-to-end delivery of integration projects.
- Technical proficiency to tackle complex items, including integration.
