Key Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Development. Design and implement robust automation frameworks from the ground up, tailored to specific project needs.
- Test Case & Defect Management. Utilize tools like JIRA for managing test cases and tracking defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Agile Collaboration. Work closely with Agile (Scrum) teams, contributing to the continuous delivery of software enhancements and features.
- Hands-On Automation. Leverage your extensive experience with Core Java, Selenium, Junit/TestNG, Cucumber, Soap UI, REST, API testing, Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, and similar tools to automate testing processes and improve software quality.
- Continuous Learning. Stay abreast of the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies in the automation and testing space, and apply this knowledge to improve existing processes.
- Team Collaboration. Act as a key team player, while also being capable of working independently as an individual contributor when needed.
- Problem-Solving & Time Management. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges, and manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Educational Background. BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Expertise. 7+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Core Java, Selenium, Junit/TestNG, Cucumber, Soap UI, REST, API, Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, and similar tools.
- Agile Experience. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly in Scrum settings.
- Tool Proficiency. Exposure to JIRA or other similar tools for test case and defect management.
- Soft Skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- Communication Skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
