As SimCorp transitions to a SaaS model on Microsoft Azure, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to re-implement our core platform for efficiency on dynamic infrastructure with a focus on cost optimization. This role offers the opportunity to join a new team and shape its direction, collaborating closely with deployment teams across different regions.
Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and manage Azure DevOps, TeamCity, and Jenkins pipelines, emphasizing Infrastructure as Code.
- Contribute actively to the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring seamless operations and driving continuous improvement.
- Handle incidents, diagnose issues impacting the code pipeline, and implement deployments to resolve issues promptly.
- Advocate and implement principles of a SaaS-centric organization.
Essential Skills
- Significant experience in C# .NET Framework and Powershell.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling, especially Azure DevOps and TeamCity.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with modern engineering practices (SOLID principles, Test-Driven Development).
- Experience in developing tools for test automation and a strong DevOps mindset.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with Jenkins, REST, GraphQL.
- Understanding of SecOps and monitoring security vulnerabilities.
- Support experience in Azure production environments and disaster recovery.
