Effective liquidity risk monitoring and collateral maintenance are crucial for the stability of any financial institution. Our team in Pune is developing a state-of-the-art liquidity risk and collateral management platform for one of the world's largest investment banks. This platform, consisting of both front-end tools and back-end engines, aims to enhance efficiency and scalability, mitigate operational risks, and minimize manual interventions in processing margin calls.
Responsibilities
- Develop new functionalities for the Liquidity Risk platform.
- Collaborate closely with global teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Mandatory Skills
- Big Data Experience (5+ years). Proficiency in handling large datasets and big data technologies.
- Java/Python J2EE, Spark, Hive. Strong coding skills in these languages and frameworks.
- SQL Databases. Experience in working with SQL databases.
- UNIX Shell. Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting.
- Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, Yarn, Talend, Hue. Extensive experience with these big data tools and frameworks.
- Big Data Reporting, Querying, and Analysis. Capabilities in creating detailed reports and analyzing large datasets.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Spark Calculators. Knowledge of building calculators based on business logic/rules using Spark.
- Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting. Basic skills in optimizing performance and resolving issues.
- SDLC Experience. Familiarity with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Complex Deployment Infrastructures. Experience in deploying software in complex environments.
- Software Architecture, Design, and Testing. Understanding of designing and testing software applications.
- Data Flow Automation. Experience with tools like Apache NiFi and Airflow.
- OOP vs Functional Design. Understanding the differences and applications of Object-Oriented Programming and Functional design approaches.
- Event-Driven Architecture. Knowledge of designing systems based on events.
- Spring, Maven, GIT, uDeploy. Proficiency in these development and deployment tools.
