As a Senior Computer Scientist in the Adobe Creative Enterprise (CEnt) group, you will play a key role in designing and developing highly scalable APIs and workflows for our Enterprise customers using Creative Cloud products. Your expertise will contribute to building a cohesive backend that integrates various services, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development. Lead the design and development of services/components, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Project Lifecycle. Manage the full lifecycle of projects from user story gathering to design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
- Architectural Leadership. Make architectural decisions, uphold coding standards, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.
- Collaboration. Work closely with geographically distributed teams in a dynamic, agile environment.
- Mentorship. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications
- Education. B.Tech and/or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience. 12+ years in software development, primarily focused on back-end systems.
Technical Proficiency
- Expertise in Java, NodeJS, or Scala, and related frameworks.
- Experience with databases and technologies such as MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, complex software projects.
- Familiarity with developing scalable cloud-based services on AWS or Azure.
- Skills. Strong problem-solving abilities; self-starter with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a strong team player.
- Agile Experience. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
